November Cara Box Reveal

I've done a few swaps since I started blogging. I always find them to be fun and rewarding. Not only do you get something in the mail that isn't a bill but you get to meet a new friend.

Have you heard about Cara Box? If you haven't then you need to head over to Wifessionals to find out more about it. Each month there is a theme and this month's theme was childhood.

I was partnered with Samantha at Hooah and Hiccups this month. She is an Army wife with an adorable little boy. I loved getting to learn more about her and her life through her blog.

I was excited to find a box in my mailbox filled with hot pink and polk-a-dot tissue paper... my favorites. :-) Clearly I was too excited to find my real camera to take pictures, because I just used my phone.

In our conversations before the swap we talked about how much we loved playing with Barbies when we were younger. I really can't lie and tell you that I wouldn't do it now if my Barbies were suddenly out of the attic. Samantha sent me a Modern Barbie Cara Box and I absolutely loved everything in it.

There was a sparkly mirror, pen, and star ring. Those fun tissues are now floating around in my purse, but I can't bring myself to use them because they are too cute. Recipe cards that I will be filling up soon since updating my recipe box is on my 26 in 26 list. Bubble Yum scented nail polish was probably the thing I was most excited about. Who didn't (1) love nail polish, (2) Bubble Yum, or (3) scented things [ahem... blueberry markers]? AND cherry flavored lip balm was without a doubt a favorite of childhood. I would still carry around Lip Smackers if I didn't have an EOS addiction.

There's my Cara Box for November. The sign up for the December one are supposed to come out on December 3. I hope you will join in, because it sure is fun!
